A championship footballer has been arrested following a collision on the M1 on christmas day.
Jordan Robertson, currently playing for Southampton on loan from Sheffield United was questioned by police after the crash, which left a father of five dead.
Robertson was later released on police bail.
Omar Mohamed, 38, from Leicester, was seriously injured in the M1 crash near Lutterworth. He died on Boxing day.
On Tuesday Sheffield United issued a brief statement which said: "It is an unfortunate tragedy and our condolences go out to the family of Mr Mohamed but Sheffield United cannot make further comment as it is a police matter."
